The highlight of my week was yesterday when I had two dates scheduled. Thankfully I was wiser this time and did not over book my day like I did in the past...Haha!
Anyways, my first date of Saturday was with the boy who I met at Lagoon. I know I said in my last blog post that I didn't really care if I went on more dates with him (even if he was lots of fun at lagoon), but I am really glad he asked me on this date. I still don't think he is my type, but he is really easy to talk to. Our date was five hours long yesterday and it was just him and I, but we had no trouble with finding so much to talk about.
He came and picked me up and we went to his place and made a whole apple pie out of scratch. I liked doing this because, A) what a great way to start the holiday season and B) I got to show off my baking skills...Haha!
He was still in the process of moving into his new apartment so we were lacking needed utensils like a knife. Once the pie was baked, we just dug in with our forks and ate it right out of the pan. Haha!
Our date mainly consisted of making and eating this pie, but afterwards we drove up little Cotton Wood canyon. I have never been and it was beautiful! There is already snow up there! We took a little hike/nature walk around and then he drove me home. I got back a little after 7:00 Which was when my second date was suppose to start. But I knew we were running late so I texted my second date and asked if we could push it back to 7:30.
My second date that evening was with the boy I met at the stake Halloween dance who had asked if he could take me out to get Ice Cream. I was excited for this date, because at the dance it was dark and you could only see so much so I was interested in who this boy was that I had spent my night dancing with. Is that weird? That sounds weird, but seriously, I couldn't picture how he looked. When he did pick me up at 7:30 my first thought was, "Oh! You were the one..."
It was a fun, simple and short date. Especially compared to the elaborate long date that I had just gotten done with 15 minutes earlier.
The moral of the story is, Sheena and Tyler think I am a player...
But I am just enjoying the opportunity of meeting new people and having fun...Plus, I kind of like the challenge of having to strategically plan my schedule to fit in all these dates...Haha!
