Lately I have really been wanting to create a new blog. And with the new year beginning what better time to do it?
Sugar & Spice has been a great blog since I started it back in 2014 when I was 18 years old. I feel like at that time of my life it was the perfect blog title for my life. I was still young and pretty care free and really hadn't been exposed to what we call "the real world." After filling my blog with lots of little gems Haha I left on my mission and since then my life has not been the same. Although my life continually gets better in my opinion and more wonderful things continue to bless my life, I do not relate so well to the carefree 18 year old I was when I first started a blog.
When I first started my blog I was just beginning to scratch the surface on legitimate relationships. Now I am married and have been sealed to my husband for eternity.
When I first started my blog I was just beginning to take on lots of jobs to earn money for future pursuits like collage and a mission. Now I work to pay bills, buy groceries and help save for a little family.
When I first started my blog I had just graduated highschool and had never lived outside of Moab or away from my parents. Yet in the last 3 years I have lived as far away as Texas, and at other times been completely on my own.
The list goes on from there from life lessons I have come to experience, relationship fails, major decisions to make, personal let downs and struggles that went far beyond what I ever experienced four years ago. I for sure still have so much to experience and have many ways to continue to mature but I have grown a lot over the years and the biggest change of all has been the fact that I am now no longer learning alone. I have a husband who will now walk through every experience and life lesson with me. Together we will not just continue to grow up, but we will begin to grow together and that is the biggest life change of all and for that reason I am graduating from my Sugar & Spice - Everything Nice blog to my new blog.
